This week’s training diary to fight T2D and weight…

This week’s training to keep my BG levels steady and weight loss going…

Monday AM 45 min HR Zone 2 rowing session
Monday PM 10 min elliptical trainer + 65 min weights session at gym (chest / triceps)

Tuesday AM 30 min HIIT rowing session
Tuesday PM 10 min elliptical trainer + 60 min weights session at gym (shoulders / back / biceps)

Wednesday AM 45 min Steady state zones 3 & 4 row
Wednesday PM 10 min elliptical trainer + 50 minute weights session (legs / abs)

Thursday AM 20 min recovery state row at HR Zone 1

Friday PM 10 min elliptical trainer + 60 min weights session ( chest / triceps)

Saturday AM 50 minute HIIT rowing session

Just Sunday to go, will be doing weights again…

I have read that short (slow or moderate) 5-10 min workouts immediately after lunch (after each eating generally) are good.

Yes, just a walk is good, I try to do that within 30 mins of eating.

It helps to burn the glucose directly and transport it into the muscles without insulin.
Reducing carbohydrates in the diet helps also much for T2D and overweight, as the hormonal reaction of the body to food changes and hunger is controlled in a better way.

Yep. Well I have come down from an all time high of 146kg to a current 92kg by a complete change in diet combined with 10-12 hours exercise per week. I’d post some pics up, but can’t seem to manage it even using a hosting site…

Yep. Well I have come down from an all time high of 146kg to a current 92kg by a complete change in diet combined with 10-12 hours exercise per week. I’d post some pics up, but can’t seem to manage it even using a hosting site…
