Yes, but maybe first of all, weight training is said to be even better than cardio in improving insulin sensitivity. And with high drag factor (higher damper setting) you can get pretty anaerobic workout.
Weight loss / Type 2 Diabetes

Re: Weight loss / Type 2 Diabetes
I have been doing a mix of training for the past year now. My cardio is 90% rowing and I do 3 sessions per week at home. 2 x 60-80 min at heart rate zone 2 and one HIIT session at 40-50 mins. So roughly 3 -4 hours a week. I go to the gym to do resistance training 3-4 days a week depending on how I feel and do 1 x 10 min cardio warmup and usually 60-80 mins of resistance training. I’m not losing weight as rapidly, but I am down to 92kg and I have a LOT more muscle than before. Waist size is down from 44 inches in Nov 22 to currently 33 inches and my shape has transformed completely. Type 2 Diabetes is in remission and I feel much better overall.

That is a lot of great news, especially the effect on your diabetes.
Good luck with continuing it all.
