Figuring calories burned with model A?

Post by Tetrabiotic » August 13th, 2009, 3:15 pm

Does anyone know if there is a way for me to figure how many calories I am burning using my model A C2?

I use good form according to the video and average about 23-25 full strokes per minute and the chain is on the most difficult sprocket. My speedometer is broken of course.

I always check my pulse after I am done and average a pulse rate of 150-160 bpm. I'm currently 185 pounds- male 6 feet tall.

any help ,even a good guestimate would be appreciated.

over what length of time are you working out; what is your basal metabolic rate. At the end of the day, your calorie burn is probably the equivalent of a pint of Guinness :o
