Error during RowPro shutdown

Post by Bill Moore » November 10th, 2008, 2:56 pm

Does anyone else have a problem when they exit RowPro? It happens when I change the System Settings to remember the last user, and it doesn't remember the settings when I re-start the program. I'm not sure if this is a RowPro or a general computer (MS) problem.

You'll need to post the same question on the http://digitalrowing.com customer forum or send an email to the RowPro folks.

Thanks,

I was afraid of this not being so easy. I sent the e-mail to them.

I don't have this problem. Are you using the latest version?

Yes, I have the latest version. Pete has the error message and is working on it. I suspect it might not be a RowPro problem since other people don't have this error.

It's not stopping me from rowing, it's just an inconvenience. I have my 7 & 5 year old rowing, plus my wife wants to do the Holiday Challenge after giving birth to our 6th kid in October. So we're a maxed out multi-user household. I see us getting two ergs for our home gym with the club version of RowPro so the kids can race each other on a big screen monitor. This is one video game I want them to play!!!

You're not alone...I have seen issues like this occasionally. Once in a blue moon I get some sort of error when I exit RP (2.3) and it does seem to forget who the last user was from time to time.

But I can't reproduce these issues with any regularity...so not much I can do! They're minor, thankfully.
