Curious why I'm the only one in the Cross team Challenge representing RowPro Rowers. I just did my 15 minute row for 3,835 meters.

I think the simple answer is that we are a really lame team. Many people who use rowpro row for other teams.

I didn't know that we had a team on the CTC and so had never tried to enter that. Are you are team leader there (do I need to do anything to row for RP?). The CTC is a UK thing, and so it gets very little notice over here on the US forum. It has grown a lot over the last year or two.

You may want to email or PM Pam (using oarbits). She is probably our team leader/captain by default, and could get more people involved. She emailed me that she was going to set up a team for the January challenge for RP, so that would hopefully get more RP rowers involved in the "team".

I am not a team leader. RowPro Rowers is listed with all the other teams.
Being a RowPro user it was the only team I had any connection with.

http://www.c2ctc.com/person.php You can click on "add or update a person" and chose RowPro Rowers as your team.

I'm sure you RPR's could just mention this to each other in the chat section before a row. I've wondered why there aren't more CTC sessions per month on RowPro.

It gets me thinking that maybe I'll mention it in our 'round the world thread and see if I can get some Eh Team! CTC rows afloat.

Cheers, Merry Christmas,

Kirk

I can tell I will never make the first boat, but I joined up in the 2nd (I was just messing around, and could probably go a bit faster, but never as fast enough).

Looks I've been bumped down to boat 2 with you, and also don't think I'll get back in boat 1. Need to drum up some support so that we can float boat 2!

Cheers
Dave

Just noticed I have now joined the 'not full boat'. We need(?) would like a Female and a Lightweight (no chance I could be that) to join us to fill our boats.

I can probably con the wife into a 250m row. Any lightweights out there?

Just noticed we have been joined in boat 2 by Lynne Lamoureux - WELCOME.
Just a lightweight RowPro rower to fill the second boat - Anyone fancy giving it a go?

I did a few 250s this morning. Nothing special: 49.5, 48.8, 48.2, 2:26.8 :) and 47.8.

I am a lightweight but don't use RowPro. So If you want me I'll sign up.

Didn't plan on doing this since my knee is still a bit off and I probably am under 100K total for the last 2.5 months but I felt OK after doing a 3K warm up and moderate 5k. So I figured I'd help out a boat. Was going to do another 5K but figured I try the CTC. First two at a drag factor of 115, 3nd at 130, 4th and 5th at 144. The fourth also involved running after one of my dogs who decided to wake up the neighborhood.
