Digital Rowing Update/Insight Survey

Post by Rockin Roland » July 1st, 2006, 11:16 pm

Last week I received an email from Digital Rowing which is basically a newsletter incorporating a user survey. I almost forget to do the survey however I completed it last night.

It's important that we all complete this survey as it's an ideal opportunity to have a bitch about their product with constructive feedback. There's also a section where you can vote on a wish list of items for future development.

How many voted for power/torque data and the ability to connect two ergs to the one computer with Rowpro?

If we give them strong feedback we may get this kind of stuff sooner rather than later.
PBs: 2K 6:13.4, 5K 16:32, 6K 19:55, 10K 33:49, 30min 8849m, 60min 17,309m
Caution: Static C2 ergs can ruin your technique and timing for rowing in a boat.
The best thing I ever did to improve my rowing was to sell my C2 and get a Rowperfect.

You are right. We need to keep this (slow) train going. Rowpro is too good a software product to let it drown in its own bugs.

I did. Maybe the people at Digitalrowing should talk to Paul Smith.

Connecting other ergs

Post by canoeist » July 2nd, 2006, 1:53 pm

I voted for connecting more than one erg. Only that way will we be able to allow virtual rowers to join us in the next Boston Erg Marathon.

Cheers,

Paul

Don't forget to tell them all the GREAT things you like about RP. It's an awesome program and I am sure took a lot of time and much frustration. Too many times hard work is not rewarded properly. So.....let us not dwell too much on complaints but equal things out with HIGH well earned praises , lest they become too burnt out (which is happening too much these days).
