Quick way to program fixed interval?

Post by Xfea » June 2nd, 2023, 5:11 pm

I want to program a workout that has x reps of a fixed interval - and END at the end.

Example 100m / 30 second rest x 15

Is there an easy way to do this?

Either I program fixed interval and keep count of intervals...not what I want - I want the workout to finish after 15.

Or I go into variable and program 15 reps.

I want the workout to finish after 15 reps...

YES - I know at each rest It shows interval number.
YES - I know - I can have Ergdata show what interval I am currently in.

Thanks ahead of time...

Your PM shows you the number of intervals rowed, so all you need do is stop when you see the number wanted.

Re-row will then stop at your last number used.

You answered your question.
Using ergdata you only need to copy the first entry, if I remember right, this is possible with one click.

REROW function.

If you can count the 15 once (and the PM tells you which interval you just completed each time) then you can REROW that workout.

Using REROW the PM5 will stop the workout at the number of reps.

So flow is do the 100m / 30 second rest x 15 once.

Days later when you want to do exactly 100m / 30 second rest x 15 you set up the workout by
1. On the Main Menu, choose Select Workout.
2. Select ReRow. You will see a list of past workouts.
3. Use the up and down arrows to navigate the list. Navigate to the workout you want to rerow. The list will say 15 X 100m with 30 seconds rest. (You can use the magnifier icon to view the workout details.)
4. With the workout selected, choose ReRow.

If you use a pace boat the pace boat will follow the pace you rowed in the workout you selected.

I took me a while to find out how to delete an interval in Ergdata.
There a probably more features I don't know about.
A user manual of some kind would be very handy....
