Hi all. Just got a used unit with the pm5. I have ErgData app and ergzone app on my iPad. I see I was connected with one of the apps yet when I was done my workout that data isn’t in the apps. I can see the workout in the memory section on the pm5 but nothing is coming over into my logbook.
What am I doing wrong? FYI I did update the pm5 to the most current version.
First row. No data downloaded?
Re: First row. No data downloaded?
A PM5 can only connect to one app at the time, so it should be in one of them.
If all fails, plug in a memorystick into the USB port and move your training to it. Then you can upload it manually through the C2 desktop app. Downside is that stroke-by-stroke data is missing, but it is better than nothing

Re: First row. No data downloaded?
Going to hop back in today, but I think from doing some reading last night that I’m using it incorrectly. I thought once I was done my data would go from the pm5 to the app. But it looks like that app has to be open while I do my work out. Is this correct.
And if this is correct, how do you use another app for your actual workout? Eg I was thinking of trying the Hydrow app today.
I do have an iPhone and an iPad so guess I could use the phone for ergzone and then my iPad for my screen/training?

Yep, it needs to be running. On Android it could be in the background, but i don't know about Apple IOS devices (this is typically OS dependent).Cbiccum wrote: ↑September 11th, 2022, 9:10 amGoing to hop back in today, but I think from doing some reading last night that I’m using it incorrectly. You don't, the PM5 can connect to one device only. When you have more extensive apps (for example ErgZone and EXR), they can upload the workout to Concept2 instead, removing the need for ErgData.

With iPhone iOS latest version, I have ErgData open and PolarBeat running in the background. Works fine. But having them reversed ErgData stops.
