Recording on ERG logbook

Post by Jockey2303 » August 2nd, 2022, 5:44 am

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I set up an interval training session on the app on my phone 500m then 1 minute rest, connected the the rower and did the first interval, after the rest period, it showed interval 1 still, I repeated this 4 times and the interval was still registering 1, it didnt count up ?

On completion of my 5 sets I was hoping it would register these intervals in the logbook, but it didnt save them, not sure what I am doing wrong, any assistance greatly appreciated

regards

Steve

interesting.. can i assume you are using ergdata?
and setup as constant intervals? if so then a bit surprising as typicaly you can do non stop intervals and it should record them all.
i do intervals and thats how i set up. latest ergdata version?

and when you are done do you hit the menu button on the PM. this should stop the session and save which triggers ergdata to upload to the logbook

Interesting indeed - not seen this issue before. The bit of the description different to what I do, is that I connect the Phone/app to the PM first - and indeed wait for the HR signal to be recognised - before I program the piece on the phone. After the nth interval always hit the menu key on the PM to finish/record the session. With the new Ergdata I then go into logbook in the app as that seems to be a trigger to to getting things sync'd. I also need to look at at least the first interval detail to get another "data syncing" message before I'm happy that I won't loose anything.
