New ErgData - not synching "just row" workouts

Hi,
I love the new app, I noticed one minor issue:
It does not sync workout data when using the "Just Row" function. Chose any of the Save options, nothing gets added to the log in the application.
If I program a workout (for example "single distance") then the workout gets save to the log and synched.
It would be nice to enable the save feature for just row workouts at some point...
Thanks a lot

Do you press the [BACK] button when you're done? That's essential to get ErgData to record the "just row" workout.

Are you selecting "Just Row" in the app? My experience has been that if I work exclusively in the app I have no issues. Have not tried setting anything up on the PM5 since the new app update. And I removed my USB stick as suggested by C2.

Hi,
Yes, I tap "just row" in the android app, if I then select any of the save options in the menu, then the workout will be stopped, but doesn't appear in the logbook in the app, nor does it sync up.
If I set-up a new workout in the app, row it until the end, then chose one of the save options, the workout appears in the logbook in the app and syncs up.
The workout is saved on the PM5 monitor in every case though.

I would try what Citroen has suggested. When I tested "Just Row" that's maybe what I did since that was the case prior to the app update, but regardless it will save to the logbook as I have done it since the update.

What Citroen suggested doesn't work either, same behaviour, workout is not saved to the logbook or synchronised.

Thanks for the suggestions though...
I'll wait until C2 issues a fix....

Just for curiosity I tested two Just Row sessions this morning. The first I saved with the app and the second by hitting the BACK button (Menu) on the PM5. Both sessions were saved to the logbook with no issues.
Are you running the latest firmware on the PM5? Understand your frustration.

I didn't try the back button on the PM5, only in the app. I will have a go and see. The PM5 is running the latest firmware (12).
It is just a minor annoyance, far from frustrating

Using the PM5 Menu button to save the workout works: hurray and thanks!
The app menu option still misbehaves for "Just Row" workouts.

Outstanding. Glad you got it worked out.
