Workout doesn't save to logbook after app update

After the recent ERG data update, my workouts will not save to the log book. Everything seems to be connected fine -- my pm5 connects automatically, my heart rate monitor connects. I've tried saving my workouts in several ways, hitting the menu button on the pm5, hitting the save button on the app -- either do not work. By the way, when the workout is over a save option does not pop up automatically.
One other thing, when I add the workout manually to my log book it does sync to the app log book
Any ideas?

Go to the logbook and pull the list down to refresh it, then open the workout.
It only seems to sync automatically when you select "View in logbook"

When I choose the save and view log book option, my workout is not saved. I tried refreshing the log book as you suggested and then going to a workout -- it still did not save

I encountered the same issue as _PK_ this morning, 7/11/2022 after I first received the new update to the ErgData app. I contacted Concept2 support and they suggested updating the firmware on the PM5 and trying some other troubleshooting rows to see what does and doesn't work. My workouts are successfully saved and completed in the PM5 memory, but not the app and therefore not in the online logbook. I too manually loaded the workout into my online logbook and it then showed up in the ErgData app almost instantly. It seems to be a problem with the app not pushing properly to the online logbook nor properly saving/storing recent activities. I'm wondering if logging out and back in to our accounts on the ErgData app may do anything to resolve the issue...

I tried updating my PM5 firmware (32 is the latest version) and that resolved the issue. I recommend trying that to see if it helps.

If my firmware were out of date, I would think the app would have let me know when I opened it and it connected to the rower. That's the way the old ErgData worked.

And the updated new one does.
One should not assume that a completely restructured App is working 100%. There will come up several updates until all features are working fluent and error free - this is development.
If Apps were only released if all is working fine under different circumstances - Apps would never be released.

And they did test it in the field during a Beta test, without much issues popping up. But we were required to check things like the firmware version.
