Since i don't want to use my phone while rowing, i am using a pc with bluetooth connection.
On my phone i used ergdata or krew, which uploaded to the concept logbook automatically after the workout completed.
Is there any software on PC which will do the same so i don't need an phone / tablet anymore?

The only options with a laptop are a USB stick or a USB-A to USB-B printer cable and the very low featured C2 Utility.
You get less than 1% of the data from a workout with the utility that you get with Ergdata on a phone or tablet. At the start of the third decade in the 21st century it really isn't up to standard compared to Ergdata.

Too bad.
If only ergdata for pc existed
Just tried the trial version of rowpro which seems to be able to auto upload to the logbook. Maybe i will use that. Or will try ergdata on android emulator on pc...

No idea why you don't want to use a phone. Most people would have an "Old" smartphone by now that still works fine for ErgData, in fact an older phone is better as its smaller and fits into the Concept 2 PM5 holder with ease.
The phone no longer needs the SIM card in it, essentially it becomes a small "Tablet". My old Samsung Galaxy A3 now "Lives" in the PM5 cradle and I simply turn it on when I want to row then turn it off again after adding my row comments and then hit SYNC to the Concept 2 logbook.
I have RowPro but the ErgData upload is by far and away easier to use and contains more information than the RowPro upload like the drag factor and the total stroke count which I waited like 10 years for someone to implement.
You just slide the phone out of the holder and enter the information while your seated there recovering after the row. ErgData is simply brilliant.
If you cannot be bothered typing in all the comments just upload to the C2 log and use a proper keyboard for the edit and then SYNC back to ErgData. ErgData has mostly auto text anyway so even entering my lengthy comments takes no time at all.

..or get a $40US Kindle and dedicate it to the PM5.
The 7" display is bright, it runs ergdata, and it works fine with bluetooth or a cable.
