You need to have location services turned on, on your phone.

If you can't get it to work send an email to info@concept2.com and they will fix it for you.

I do have location services turned on. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Logged out a few times and logged back in. No dice.

I think there is something else going on, so I will reach out to the email below. Thanks!

My wife is having this sync problem also, on her android phone. I have the identical phone and sync works fine for me - even with location turned off.
We have done all the hoop jumping, even taking out the battery and having to reset the time...
Have not tried uninstalling or re-installing yet, that is next on the list.

It looks like a phone issue unless something is going on with the accounts at C2???

May or may not be something to do with the end of the rowing season on May 1st ?

Just a guess or may be a coincidence. Will find out today when I row.

I'm also having this problem. I've emailed support and am awaiting a reply. So far I've logged out/on of the Android app and the desktop app, rebooted both. I'm pretty sure it's on the Concept2 end somewhere.

I tried to sync my workout using Krew app and it worked, good to know I'm not the only one having the problem.

As another user reported in another thread now locked, getting the 'Please log out and re-enter your logbook credentials to sync' message. Log out, log in, same message. Was able to sync a row on 22nd, but not today's row (29th).

erg data sync error thread locked

I don't understand why the erg data sync error was locked without resolution? None of the suggestions given work. Logging out and back on the mobile app and/or the website doesn't work. Altering the location setting on your phone doesn't work. Furthermore, Concept2 customer assistance has not responded to my email yet. So the problem is still there.

It was locked because it was getting too many "Me too" posts.

I'll unlock it on Sunday when the new season has ticked over at Midnight Eastern on 1st May.

Unable to sync ergdata from android this morning ...

When I tried to sync a session from this morning I get the message :
"""
Online Logbook Status
Please log out and re-enter your logbook credentials to sync
"""
I did this (log out and log in again), also rebooted, but keep getting the same message.

ErgData version is 1.96
Android version is 8.1.0

I guess that today is the first day of a new season? When I started the session the ErgData only started recording after the end of the first interval, so I maybe I did not start it correctly.

Is there some other way to get the data out of the app? This one would cause my lifetime total to cross 500k, so I was hoping to save the workout before re-installing or clearing app data.

Send an email to info@concept2.com with your Log book ID, make/model of your phone, Android version on your phone.

If they don't know about the problem they'll never fix it.

I had this issue with Android app 1.96 late April. Now fixed with 1.98 - hope this is the fix for everyone else. Cheers.
