Heart Rate in "Workout Graph" different than in "Splits" table

Post by StavrosStergiopoulos » March 28th, 2021, 5:11 pm

Hello all,

I am facing the following problem:

The heart rate shown on the Workout Graph(wrong)
Image

is different than shown in the "Splits" table (correct)
Image

in the Logbook.

I am using PM5 with:
Firmware Version 207
Hardware Version 903

Heart rate monitor: CooSpo (H808S).

Once more that i used it, it worked fine so i am not sure what caused it.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

Stavros

The splits in the logbook are based on taking the instantaneous reading when the split timer ends a split. It's not averaged.
The graph should be created by taking a reading at the end of every stroke, so should always be more accurate.

Send an email to rowing@concept2.com to get C2 to look at your stored data.

Ouch 176 Heartrate at only 2:11 pace.

Would probably be more worried about getting that HR down by rowing even slower for a few months.

Thank you Citroen. For some reason i noticed that when rowing the hear rate was changing on the PM5 screen but not on my phone so maybe it had to do with what the monitor was connected to (to the phone or the rower or both). I might do a bit of trial&error next time and then get C2 to have a look at the stored data as you said. Thanks again.

You are definitely correct there Carl. Unfortunately it is the results of the quarantine & wokring long hours from home. Got a bit too excited with my new rower and first time tried 2:00 pace with my Hearrate being 189~190. I decided to live a bit longer :D and this was the second time but as you said maybe i should slow down a bit...i am not 15 anymore and its obvious.
