Today I did warm up, then intervals, then 20' warm down with PM5 linked to ErgData syncing (in theory) to online log book.

All went fine until 30 seconds into my warm down, ErgData flashes up that I need to connect it to machine (which previously it was). Well, at least it happened 30 seconds into warm down thinks I. So I stop, reconnect ErgData with the PM5 and do my warm down. After my warm down I go to sync ErgData but it's only showing my warm up and intervals, not my warm down, which is showing on the PM 5. Weird thinks I.

Never mind. I'll connect laptop & sync via the C2 Utility, which will add the missing warm down, but no. It doesn't. The warm down is definitely on the PM5 and I have a verification code for it, but the ErgData won't recognise it as there and the C2 Utility won't sync it to the online logbook. Weird thinks I.

Never mind, I'll enter it in the logbook manually (I have done) and I'll verify it with the verification code.... except there's no option to add the verification code.

I'm upset now. My CDO (obsessive compulsive disorder in alphabetical order) is disturbing my karma. Anyone got any ideas? (I've emailed C2 and had a "one of our geeks is looking into it" message.

1. update your version of Ergdata to the latest
2. update the firmware on your PM5 to the latest version

You can't verify Ergdata workouts, they're automatically verified.
To verify a manually entered workout you need the verification code from the PM5. That's only valid for the official list of times and distances which are 500m, 1K, 2K, 5K, 6K, 10K, 21097, 42195, 4 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes.

You can't verify a "Just Row" workout or a set of any flavour of intervals.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know you can only manually verify certain workouts, so that’s helpful. Both ErgData & PM5 software are (and were) the latest versions.
