Cable to Connect Rower to iPhone for Ergdata

Hi
Due to the current situation I am getting my rower out again and now want tom connect to Ergdata and logbook. I can see that I need a cable for this as I have a model D and PM4.
Does anyone know where I can get the cable, it seems to have been discontinued? I can see that I can get from LiveRowing the US but with shipping it costs $84.99, that is for the cable and cradle - I will also need another bit, an adapter, because I have an iPhone 5?
Is it easy to get hold of these pieces to get me going? It doesn't seem easy.
If anyone has any of this and would like to sell second-hand, I'd be willing t buy just tog et me going.

Thanks for your reply and yes these are the links I've seen which gave me the information I've explained.
The Concept link is the one which explains that I need the cable, cradle and adapter.
The LiveRowing link is the US store which is where the cable will cost $84.99 - I was wondering whether it can be bought cheaper, perhaps in the Uk, but from what I have seen it seems to be discontinued.
My question is that is the kit I need but where do I get it at a reasonable price - is there such a place?

Best of luck finding one. It may be cheaper to get an old, second hand Android phone with a OTG adapter and a plain old USB-A to USB-B printer cable. That wouldn't even need a SIM card.

I’ve just tried getting a USB to lightening connector but no luck I don’t think.

I’m in a similar situation, just inherited a rower and would like to connect it up to ErgData. Looking for the easiest/cheapest way!

Get a PM5, use Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE).

Because the cable at $45 will cost more than buying a new PM5 ($180) and selling your old PM4 on eBay.

He speaks the truth. I bought the cable 2 years ago when they were available to use with my PM3. Worked fairly well but would sometimes just quit during a row. Wound up buying a new PM5 ($180) and selling my old PM3 ($95). Not quite a wash, but I couldn't be happier with the PM5.

BTW it costs a lot more than $45 for the cable here in the uk as the shipping costs so much!
