Ergdata - Android, not reseting workouts

hello.
my phone ( pocophone ) is connected via BT to my C2 Model D.
normally after finishing a session and when starting a new one on the erg, the data on Ergdata will reset itself making it ready for a new row.

however, my Erg data is not reseting the last session. i start a new session, but the data is fixed on the last session i had done a few days ago.

i have tried to uninstall and re-install the application but its not helping.

any ideas please?

I"m have been having a lot of issues with ErgData for about a month. My issues have been with lost connections. I've emailing back and forth with C2. They thought they had it fixed with the last version of ErgData which just came out recently. You may want to check when you started having the issues and when the last version of ErgData was released.

I've heard of some on these message boards, but it seems that ErgData is the one most use. I have RowPro but it doesn't have drive length and has its own issues. It's primarily used by those who want to row with others online.

There is an Android app called BoatCoach. It is actually of the same origin as ErgData and has more functionality.

However, if you want to export your row sessions from the C2 logbook to other platforms like Garmin Connect, and you want correct timestamping, I can't really recommend using BoatCoach unless you are so lucky to live in the GMT timezone.

I live in another timezone, and consequently my row sessions from BoatCoach have the wrong timestamp when they are synchronized to Garmin Connect. This doesn't happen when using ErgData.

The developer of BoatCoach was less than forthcoming when I informed him of the issue, so I don't believe it will be corrected anytime soon.

Yeah, ErgData was really stable for me since June 2018. Unfortunately, near the end of last year they added more features and did something with Bluetooth and it has been really unstable since. The latest version is supposed to have everything fixed but last night when I started a row PM5 crashed and I had to fiddle quite a bit to get it working.

And the reason I was using ErgData was because LiveRowing on Android is a bit unstable and I was lazy to play with it last night.

Ha, so I'm not the only one. Ergdata was working beautifully until about a week ago and now you remind me, I think its problems may have begun just after an upgrade. I put it down to juggling my new Tickr and Spotify and Ergdata at the same time. I'll check if I have the latest version and report back.
