I have a couple of questions about RowPro for Mac; hopefully other users can help.
1) Is it now possible to upload all the rows I did on rowpro 4 for PC to my online logbook? I would like all my rows to show in the online logbook.
2) I would like to set up a row using my previous PB as a past race competitor, so I can race myself. These past rows were performed on RowPro 4 on PC, and it looks like I need to get these into my local logbook on the Mac. I have the .rpb file from my previous Windows computer, but there doesn't seem to be a way to import it.
I'm still hoping the Mac version is in development, but then again a year later it still has the feel of a beta programme and is obviously inferior to the excellent PC version.

Re: RowPro for Mac - importing previous rows
I'm going to bump this.
I have my row pro database exported and would really like to import it into row pro for mac so that I have all my rowing history in one place.
Any news on this?

Re: RowPro for Mac - importing previous rows
I managed to import my v4 database (Windows) using the Digital Rowing website. Login via the Rowing > RowPro online functions menu and there is a section at the bottom for importing an old database.
It does seem to save the stroke data which you can then export as text files, etc. It doesn't seem to allow you to row against an old row in your database though. In v5 I only seem to be able to select previous v5 rows to row against, and not my imported v4 rows. I haven't had time to follow up with support on this yet to see if it's by design or an issue still to be addressed.

Re: RowPro for Mac - importing previous rows
I'm following up on this right now. I suspect it's just that they didn't implement it, which is a real shame.
It's a real miss if you can't row against any of the previous rows done before upgrading to version 5.
If I'm honest, the whole of version 5 seems a downgrade. The online logbook has much less functionality than the one in 4.3, and not much else seems to have changed.
