What does FSD mean in RowPro 5 local log?

I'm using RowPro 5 for the Mac and understand all the column labels in the Local Logbook except for the one which is "FSD". Does anyone know what FSD means? All the sessions I've logged so far are assigned the letter F in that column. It might be useful information, if I know what it is...

I would have thought that S is for slides and D for dynamic, but the F throws it off. The online logbook uses Rower, which would require an R. You've got me curious too.

Yes - slides and dynamic came to mind and also "F" draws a blank. But... RowPro 5 for the Mac did not have me input what kind of rower I'm using. As soon as I entered my Product Key... it was ready to go. Any information it got, it either pulled from my account on digitalrowing or on concept2. Which gave me the idea... to look in each of those accounts and see if the clue to what "FSD" means is there. And so I logged in and looked and didn't see the answer.

F, S and D remain a mystery.

"F" stands for Fixed (e.g., Model E without slides)

Yes, I thought of that one too, after I had sent the message. But as john-n pointed out, how can Rowpro know if there is no place to enter the data? I assume that it can recognize a dynamic, just as the LogBook can. But the LogBook provides a means of telling it whether or not slides are used. Like I said, how would RowPro know?

Yes, exactly....

F for Fixed sounds right and it would go along with S for Slides and D for Dynamic but.... how would either the PM or RowPro know, since it didn't ask me and there's no signal/electrical connection between slides and PM. The S might stand for Ski-erg because the PM on the Skierg would, I assume identify itself as being on a Skierg to RowPro whereas the slides are merely a mechanical setup and I've not seen anything in the PM menu choices or sub-choices about slides. And D might be for a Dynamic Rower should have an identifying code from its PM to RowPro.

In the Concept2 online log, the pertinent choices available for "Type" which "F,S and D" might be are Indoor Rower, Indoor Rower with Slides, Dynamic Rower and Skierg. There's nothing that starts with an F in the log choices for Type.

I can't look it up in the RowPro 5 for the Mac manual, because it doesn't have a detailed manual yet, just a sort of overview.

In RowPro 5.0 for Mac, you make this selection in Preferences (under the RowPro tab).

Thank you very much! That is the correct answer (and maybe I should apologize for asking a stupid question...)

I usually read or at least scan the manual, but RowPro 5 for the Mac doesn't yet have anything to compare with the detailed manual that earlier versions have.

F must be the default setting, because RowPro 5 for the Mac didn't ask for any input from me, after I downloaded it and entered my product key.

On the logbook, the equivalent designation is "I" for just indoor rower and it is the default setting for the regular models. However, the monitor can tell when a dynamic is used and on the logbook it ends up as "D." I reckon that RowPro would do the same.
