Not sure what the native resolution of RowPro is but its not 1080p, probably not 720 either it looks more like 480p. Used to run one of the first ever Philips plasma screens with it and it still looks the same a decade later.
Graphics and CPU are really not a problem these days, got a 5 year old GPU and it eats Zwift in 1080p, the problems start when you try and run 4K which is really a total waste of time on a monitor less than 50 inch that's less than a couple of meters away, all you are doing is asking the GPU to work 4 times as hard to produce basically the same image.
The sky is just about the limit now so its now possible to produce some amazing immersive training software that stops you getting bored and keeps you motivated.
I really hope RowPro V6 makes it to market.

Why not release it as is, and communicate it is a work in progress and do monthly updates? That is how most software is developed these days, as it allows for feedback from users and adopting to it easily. You might not get all functionality on the first day, but it does make development much more user focussed in the long run.

While that would appear to be the logical thing to do, clearly it has been side-lined for some major reason.JaapvanE wrote: ↑December 26th, 2023, 6:23 amWhy not release it as is, and communicate it is a work in progress and do monthly updates?
