Do people using the Real Time Loop have the same avatar here and there?
Mine is, and i think i may have seen Citroen on once or twice. Same dog, but with a blasting box. Otherwise i haven't recognised anyone yet.
I tend to row 6-7am or after 7pm AEST.

Speaking as an older slower rower !! I've just found the Loop and love it.. much easier to do 2/4000 mtrs than just watching the meters add up
and looking forward to being able to compete against same speed rowers in due course...and if the views ever get anything like Zwift then even better.
Keep up the good work concept. John

I too am in the slower category. Have been neglecting my rower of late, but this has just the pull for me not to get bored. Like Douglas Adams and deadlines, the other rowers just go whizzing by, but it’s nice to feel that someone is out there, at least!

I must be the only one who is happy with the level of the graphics in the loop. I have no desire for fancy 3d scenery. I feel it adds nothing to the experience apart from short term novelty, much like 3d films at the cinema. Although, the lazy perspective with the avatars in the distance leaning sideways on bends kinda irritates me a bit.

From being a user of RowPro for over 10 years I always said to myself the graphics don't matter but I was wrong.

For 90% of the users the graphics is everything. The graphics immerse you in the whole experience and the time just flies and the motivational factor is huge.

It wasn't until I started using Zwift that I really could see the difference the graphics made, I can ride for 25km or about 38 minutes and its fantastic, 5 minutes on the rower now and I'm bored out of my mind. Over the years just about every single user has come and gone from RowPro. Since starting with RowPro I have completed 20 million meters, all of it online.

Rowing is never going to be as good as cycling for graphics, the scene variation you can get with cycling is almost limitless but for rowing you are stuck on flat water. Cycling just has more movement and the riders are densely packed and riders are constantly changing positions so fast you cannot track a rider with a peloton of 50 plus, you are never going to get to that level with rowing software and hence you can just use a 3rd party app like RowedBiker and connect the Erg to Zwift.
