the row file failed to export!

Post by ehagberg » April 28th, 2006, 6:48 pm

Just started getting this error from RowPro tonight when trying to upload to C2.

Upload to C2 worked fine this morning.

The error comes up after the "connecting to the internet" succeeds but while it says it is uploading.

Upload Failed to Export

Eric:

Looks like the same problem we had a month or so ago with C2 server updates. Likely Pete will get another ear full from those of us attempting Full Marathon this week-end.

Great.

If it turns out to be the same sort of cause, I'd love to hear why C2 always makes database changes on Friday afternoon, rather than any other day of the week. If they did this on any other weekday, we wouldn't have to wait the whole weekend for them to fix it on Monday.

And of course if they added one test to the end of their database updates (an upload via RowPro to a test account to verify that it still works), this shouldn't happen at all.

Grumble, grumble....

Same here. Maybe it is just busy at the moment (lots of people uploading there metres now ?); I hope :D

Continued Upload Failure

Post by rfahle » April 29th, 2006, 7:25 am

Hennie:

No such luck as simply a busy server. My attempts on Saturday morning were met with the same error message. I guess we log manually until C2 gets it fixed (again).

I had the same problem. I have been lazy and I have not entered any rows since 4/3 and I do not want to manually enter the 90 rows I have in the log since then!

I had the same problem, so good news in a way that it is universal and not just my set up. Still evaluating but that is one aspect that I do like, the online upload.

Seems to have magically become fixed now, with nobody claiming to have fixed it (or claiming responsibility for the cause)...

Yep, me and some others I know...
Pete from RP has told me it must be a problem with the C2 log, as a matter of fact they are doing something there...
