Happy holidays and all the best for 2025. I am looking to get some help with ErgData please.
I am using ErgData on Android (pixel 6) and have a PM5. No USB stick. All software is the latest.
I am wanting to start ranking my workouts. I connected ErgData to my PM5 and did a 100m and 500m session..
These were logged on my online logbook and in ErgData.
There was a rank button when I pulled up the online logbook.
I thought sessions submitted by ErgData did not need a verification code? I could not rank these as it wanted a verification code. I went and got that and it then added a verified ranking.
But the original unverified ranking was also listed so it looked like I did double the session as one set was ranked and verified and one set was just ranked.
Everytime I entered the verification code it created a new verified ranking but left the unverified ones there.
What am I doing wrong?
I had hoped ErgData would push the session to the cloud (it did) and I would just click on rank and not need a verification code as I had read online that results submitted via ErgData do not need the verification code. But they do seem to need this?
And then it seems to keep creating extra workouts when I verify?
Please advise, thanks! What am I doing wrong?

Re: ErgData and verified rankings...
On the rowerg can only rank the ranking events. They are: 1 minute, 4 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 100m, 500m, 2000m, 5000m, 6000m, 10k, half-marathon (21,097m), marathon (42,195m) and 100k metres.
It takes the last one ranked, it doesn't take the best one.
Every workout logged with Ergdata should be automatically marked as verified.

Re: ErgData and verified rankings...
Ergdata pushes to your logbook and the pieces are verified. You can view the details of the workout and see it was transferred by ergdata and it's verification status.
On the overview page of your logbook you can press the 'rank' button beside your workout to rank this specific workout. This exchanges the current ranked workout of the season, regardless of it is faster or not.
If you add a workout with a verification code through the logbook mask, it is treated as a new workout, so it will not replace the actual workout pushed by ergdata.
If the same workout, e.g. a 500m, can be ranked two times - one verified, the other not - is out of my knowledge. From my point of view it doesn't make sense to rank unverified pieces.
Probably it helps to make your logbook open and share a link, that one can have a look at it.
