Workouttype is invalid

Has anyone come across this issue/message:

Backstory - was using all 3 ergs to complete a 40 min EMOM (was not connected to any apps or using any devices). I programmed a 10 cal workout at the beginning of each workout and then simply selected ReRow/ReRide or ReSki, at the top of every minute on each Erg. No issues until the 17th round, that’s when that message on the bike’s PM5 popped up. The monitor froze and I eventually had to remove and reinstall the batteries to get it to respond.
Hitting ReSki and ReRow on the other ergs was not an issue. Thoughts?
