I have a problem with my training rows over-running, so I can't compare them or set them up as Previous Rows paceboats.
e.g. if I set the row for 5000m, the row finishes at 5000m but the distance logged is 5013 or 5019 etc. This means that when I set up a new 5000m row, the previous row doesn't appear in the pace boats because it wasn't a 5000m row, it was 5013.
It's been like this for the previous 2 versions I've used. I'm on RP5.5
Is there a solution?

Re: Rowpro training over-runs
You need to be specific on your complete setup.
You should not have a problem when you set a 5000m row it should finish at 5000m, however now and again the monitor just doesn't get the right information and you just keep on going past the finish line. For some reason it can default to a 30 minute and you have to stop the row.
For starters RP is now up to V5.7 and you also need to get your monitor on the latest version of Firmware.
Typically you need to keep everything as up to date as possible including your video card driver.
What monitor are you running ? Are you using ErgData ? Whats your PC etc.
Try doing a 5000m row online by just setting up a quick row.

Re: Rowpro training over-runs
Are you setting up the right workout parms? Is it setting the PM5 to start at 5000 and count down to zero?
Or are you, mistakenly, getting it to count up from zero to 5000?

Re: Rowpro training over-runs
Thanks for your quick replies.
@Carl Watts
My set up is as follows:
RP5.5-1-0 on Windows10.
PM5 monitor with firmware version 22, hardware version 502
@Citroen
I set the workout parameters as a 5000m race, but when it gets to zero the race ends but RowPro will count on to -15ish and then log the workout at 5015m.
I guess the solution is to update RP and the PM5 firmware to the latest versions. I really expected this to be a known issue and for there to be a straightforward solution.

Re: Rowpro training over-runs
V22 is really old now the latest version is V31.

Your version of RowPro is also old now, just download the latest version and install it.
I suggest you setup your 5000m as a quick row from within RowPro and do it online. Should work fine 100% of the time.
Join some online rows, rowing against a pace boat that you know the finish time of is boring, its like joining Facebook and talking to yourself. The online community is fantastic, give it a go the variety of pace's are there for you to row alongside someone real.
