ErgData showing heartrate but no sync to logbook

ErgData on PM3 with USB cable with HRM over Bluetooth to the Android app.

- Heartrate is shown in ErgData but nowhere to be found in logbook or Strava.
- Also no data on stroke rate other than the average per interval.

Are those know limitations, or should this work?

I remember ErgData on PM5 over Bluetooth with HRM over ANT+ to PM5 shows detailed heart- and stroke rates in logbook.

Definitely works with PM5 and Android Ergdata with an ANT+ Garmin strap connected to the PM5.

What version of firmware are you running on the PM3 ? pretty sure only the second hardware version of the PM3 received any updates to even work with ErgData.You must have V332,just checked so It looks like a limitation to me.

Maybe it only works with the older Polar HRM with the receiver plugged directly into the PM3. I was getting the full HR graph in the logbook with my old PM4 using RowPro before moving to the PM5

I'm running the same set up as you Mike (PM3, Erg data for Android, Wahoo TICKR), heart rate uploads to log book for me...

Erg Data v1.96 (beta)
PM3 Firmware 108, Hardware version 433, date code 02122006.

I had the Polar H7 and receiver set up before, which also uploaded fine

I have: PM3 firmware 108, Hardware version 310, date code 0412004, ErgData 1.96

So that explains, althoug HR in my set-up is captured by ErgData.

But if the PM3 / v310 hardware doesn't share stroke rates during the interval, there is nothing to add the HR to

I presume your NOT getting the red HR graph in your logbooks ?

V108 is the early hardware version of the PM3 its a wonder Ergdata works at all with it.

The second gen PM3 got a revised firmware to work with Ergdata it is V332.
