PM5: USB to IP over VPN/Cloud

In times of staying home due to some weird virus, I'm curious how to connect multiple ergs over the Internet (and sharing the racing screen though video conferencing). Basicaly, I want to find a more general setup for online racing (e.g., with ErgRace) without the specific need for RowPro.

I'm curious whether anyone has tried to connect multiple ergs for venue racing, erg race or rowpro through a usb to ip bridge (like usb network gate, virtual here, usb redirector or similar). I have played around a little with the trial versions of those three applications and it seems that usb over ip so far isn't stable at least when using IPsec VPN between two different places. The tools mostly report irregular PM5 disconnects. But maybe someone had success using different tools or circumstances?
