Hi All,
I'm experiencing problems enabling OpenGL in my tv's native 4K over HDMI (3840x2160) however if I downgrade to 2560x1600 it displays perfectly fine.
Now I have no issues with running at full resolution with Direct3d but even with vsync off I am still limited to 60fps rather than the 600fps I get with lower resolution OpenGL.
What am I missing here? there aren't too many settings to configure with RowPro so just trying to understand why I am having issues and if it's possible to resolve them or am I stuck using Direct3d?
As far as hardware is concerned, this is a Shuttle PC running Windows 10, with 16GB ram, an Intel 3770k processor, an Nvidia GTX1060 GPU with 4GB ram and it's not heat constrained.

Re: RowPro Native 4K - OpenGL issues
Cool but what does it look like ? Only got as far as Full HD here via HDMI to a 43 inch Sony and I suspect there is little point going higher resolution as the graphics are "Chunky" anyway and 4K will not improve things. Once you get to 75fps or 75Hz there is no point going higher either, its not a video game.
Just run it in what you have that works, your not going to improve the picture.
RowPro V5.4 is coming out soon but I'm not expecting changes in the graphics side of things, there are a few other issues that are more important to resolve.
My current set-up is a Hp Z240 i7 with total overkill 16Gb ram and a GTX750Ti graphics card after RowPro advised this was more reliable than Radeon for RowPro after me having years of on and off issues with Sapphire graphics cards.
These days I just use a 22inch monitor as there is no wall in front of the rower to stick the TV on. After 10 years of using RowPro now its less about the graphics and more about the features you need as well as those you are rowing online with. To be honest I would rather go back to the graphics of "E-Row" back in 2000 with the little yellow boats on a blue background IF ALL 16 lanes were full all the time 24/7 or the newer "ErgRace" which is similar just with more colours.

Re: RowPro Native 4K - OpenGL issues
Just checked my default set-up and "Direct3D9" or DirectX is the default. From memory every time I tried OpenGL I had problems. The default setting is Direct3D9, probably for a good reason.
