Row Pro Down All Day

Post by Steamer » December 28th, 2015, 9:57 pm

Row Pro glitches seem to becoming more frequent. Looks like nobody got an online row off today. Hope they get it squared away soon.

Seams okay now, its a bit random at times....

Okay thats strange its connecting to the Server but it appears to not be working from that point onwards.

Usually you totally loose the server, perhaps there is some work going on rather than some sort of crash.

Ok its bad, now cannot even get the Digital Rowing website up.

Did a 30 minute offline and lost the server totally with 4 minutes to go.

Cannot even get RowPro open not, it throws an error and shuts down the application.

Must be some major stuff going on, hope its V5 related and all back online tomorrow.

Same thing this morning. A scheduled or quick row won't work. Did a set piece and it saves to RP log but won't upload to the C2 log. At least chat is working which is helpful as some folks are thinking it's their pc or their connection.

well - i got a message a few weeks back saying that the release for 5.0 should be coming very soon with a hint that it would be released for Xmas.
Date withstanding, I would think that they are working on (hopefully) implementing new features on the server - hence the problems.

one can only hope...

Can't you get Rowpro to work? I want to row a planned session (offline of course) of the plan I've created and whe I start the programme the "Adjust Display Settings" appears and no matter if I click Ok or wait, afterwards appears the message "RowPro stopped working" in spanish. I thought it was my PC fault. I don't know what to think now

Getting the same issue. Thought it was my machine.

The servers must be down, which is keeping the software from running a license check. Can't think of anything else.

Why not ask digital rowing. Rather than bleating about it on here.

If you don't have to row online you can use Rowpro offline, just switch off the laptop wifi.

domi26 has discoverd that here: http://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 23636#wrap

Yes had to do my 30 minute offline last night but lost the server with 4 minutes to go. Still got the result in the LogBook which is all that matters.

Then RowPro wouldn't even stay open for longer than 1 minute without having to shutdown.

Still issues today with Oarbits, cannot even setup Online rows yet.

Hi Everyone, I have been using rowpro offline almost daily since may on the same asus G750J laptop on Windows 8.1 with no issues. This morning it opened and after 15 seconds a window opened saying "Rowpro had stopped working", No error code or report. Im wondering if this has anything to do with their website being down or is it just a coincidence? I have an email in to them 8 hrs ago but no response as of yet, Id really like to get it back up and running so any help appreciated.

Just realized there had been a few more posts made between me initially reading this thread and finally getting registered and posting, pretty much answering my question. Guess Im waiting like the rest

Pick up the phone and call them at 1-800-839-7084 (US), 1-877-307-1067 (Canada) or 0808-234-6132 (UK)

Their website is online at: https://web.archive.org/web/20150910184 ... ntact.html (on the WayBack machine).

Thank you for the info. I don’t really have any questions. I know it’s down. I just thought this was an appropriate place for discussion about it. The title of this forum does read,
“Online Racing, RowPro, e-Row and RowIt”
“Topics relating to online racing and training with 3rd party software.”
It looks like two folks above were helped by the discussion and realize now it wasn’t a problem on their end. Yesterday and today while unsuccessfully trying to get into scheduled and quick rows there were several other rowers in chat thinking it was their pc and were relieved to hear it wasn’t. I thought it would be nice to have a place to go to when there’s a problem to see if others are having the same issue or if it is only on the users end.
I just came here looking for mention of it and didn’t find it so I started the thread. Hope I didn’t offend anyone. Cheers!
