Have you tried rowing Online ? rowing with others is far better than any form of pace boat.

Pace boats are predictable and pretty boring, get online and row with others that are at a similar pace.
Again wrong C, I am ALWAYS grumpy..

You could use the "past row" pace boat.

It would mean you doing a row by yourself of the desired intensity once, for example 45 minutes at 130 hr max. Save, and next time it's there for you.

You could try different approaches to see what you like best: start hard to get to 130 straight away and then fade the pace as the hr rises, or start slower and try to pitch it so hr peaks at 130 towards the end, or something else if you're aiming to score an average hr for the piece.

I can't see a way of getting RP to be you not just pace wise but also heart rate wise. But maybe this will help?

possible the best way would be to use a custom row using the HR band combined with pace.
you can configure your target HR (i.e. 70% MHR) with a relaxed SPM (i.e. 26) and use that as your target.

Thanks! I didn't think about that. Sounds good enough. Will do some rows targeting same HR but with different "arrivals" and then will race them all :-)
