Beta testers wanted for online rowing web application

Post by tijmenvangulik » January 31st, 2014, 4:02 pm

I am working on a web application where you can (live) ergometer against or with each other. It is also possible to use the web application offline. My first version is ready and I am searching for rowers who are willing to test the website. I am looking forward to your comments and feedback. The row together option is not possible for me to test alone.

The website is free for use.

Requirements:

- Concept 2 ergometer with PM3/PM4 monitor
- PC or Mac (You need to download driver from the website)
- USB kabel between ergometer and computer
- Browser: Chrome is preferred (Chrome is the only one which I have tested, Firefox, Safari should also work, Internet Explorer only works if you change the security level to intranet website)

Will try it out next couple of days.

What I am really looking for is something like TrainerRoad (indoor cycling app) www.trainerroad.com . Maybe you can have a look.

I think there will be many ways user want to use the ergometer data. Maybe more then one single programmer can develop. My next plan is to make plugins possible. This way other developers or some one which is a little bit handy with javascript can add there own features. if you have any specific features which you want you can add it to the issue list with the type feature. The web application is just a start it will continue to develop.
