I suppose you could teach a gorilla to use a rowing machine. I wonder what its low pull would be.

The chain can handle that. But on the gorilla's first low-pull attempt, the acceleration and centrifugal force on the flywheel blades would be so great that they will break off, penetrate the cage, severely injure the gorilla, and kill a couple lemurs in the neighboring pen. Well, at least we can take comfort in the fact that Mr. Gorilla didn't twist the chain.
