Seems that we are being inundated with spammers again. Can someone please delete their shite and ban them from the forums?

Normal way is to send a PM to PaulH.

I'm busy arranging with Paul and Bill Patton to become the European spam, crud and sh*te eviscerator. So that stuff should disappear sooner. Once that happens a PM to me will have the same result - I'm on this forum every day.

Thanks for posting all the links for the recent junk.

What with my deteriorating eyesight, my first reading of that sentence gave me a turn. I haven't the faintest idea what dev/null is but I was relieved to figure out that it wasn't really the devil.

It's the UNIX (Linux) designation for the null device. Any ones or zeros poured into that device (/dev/null) simply disappear. It's a bit like the "bit bucket" on a card punch machine - somewhere to store your unwanted data.
