Be greatful for information as to why a Rich Cureton does not post here anymore.

Was he banned?
Did he cause ill feeling?
What are your views on this individual?

I've always enjoyed Rich Cureton's postings, and don't know why he stopped posting here.

Perhaps it was because there is more interest in the UK forum then here.

Thanks John

There maybe more interest on the UK forum as you say. But there is more to him than meets the eye. He, Cureton, must have been around for a while before he left.

Im just trying to understand why he is the way he is?

Mark,

He-who-shall-not-be-named moved seamlessly from here to the UK forum. The 12,000+ postings over there are merely a continuation of what used to be here, ill feeling included. The reason that he moved is probably known only to him.

The UK forum is bigger, that,s all. What is doing know over there was also going on here.
Same shite, although he wasn,t as lost as he is now. But he never ever did one thing he ever claimed.

I don't think he has ever been on http://c2forum.com. He may have been a user of that old place we knew as http://concept2.ipbhost.com (link now very dead).

He ran away to the UK forum, after being ousted by facts being presented on the US forum. I had thought he merely decided to give up the charade, until a mate from the UK forum informed me that he was up to his old tricks there and even invoking my name in his rantings. I guess he longed for some attention, so I gave him some and he has since become quite rude to just about anyone who asks reasonable questions of him. The craving of attention seems to garner less sympathy in the UK than the US, or at least the sympathy is more short lived.

Tyn, I had been following your advice recently. I'm sorry to have fallen off the wagon with my post above.

I'll go back to trying to be good. B)

Many thanks for ALL the comments so far. They are all just as valid as the next one.

Tyn, I have pm'd RC on many ocassions and the standard reply is, well, bizarre to, erm, so many words..

Anyway, I needed to try to find some answers of which there are many. So on that note thanks again folks
