Online logbook - Can you add pace per 500m?

Hi Folks

I'd love to see a column in the online log that shows my average pace /500m for the workout. Since I'm already putting in time and distance it seems like this should be an easy thing to have the logbook compute and add to the records. It would make it much easier for me to compare workouts.

Yes, I do realize pace info is captured in the bar charts, but I do not feel this is not the best way to view the data.

Thanks
Carlene

Until the software can handle it, you could always enter it manually in the comment field.

Thanks... that seems like a good work around for now.

Carlene,

when you load your log into Excel you can create extra columns and calculate the average pace and average watts for the workout. I use the comment section to record my splits based on the workout I'm doing. Especially intervals. That way I can look back and enter the data into additional columns on my log workbook to monitor my progress. You can program in macros to run these calculations. And if you are consisent in how you enter data in the comments section, you can also write a macro/VB program to extract the comments and put them into the proper cells. but you have to be consistent with how you construct your comments.

I assume if you have RowPro or other software, it will do all of this for you. But I row at home on a Model B/PM2 no where near my computer and at the gym I can't always be assured I can get the Model D with a PM3 monitor for memory card use. Half the time I'm using the Model Cwith a PM2.

I do all my rowing at home on a Model B that I have upgraded with the new PM3 computer and handle. (I also bought the new footbeds but have never gotten around to installing them.)

The log I was referring to is the Concept2 Personal Logbook you access from the webpage. I have never bothered to connect my PC to the rower. I just manually enter my workouts into my logs (one being the Concept 2 web log, the other log being my running/exercise log that I keep in excel).

I guess I just figured it should be easy for the Concept2 online log to calculate pace/500 m and add it to the log for me. I'm not much of a programmer and have had problems in excel with time format cells and calculations.
