I got my Model D with PM3 last night. It is defintiely a quality piece of equipment. I had it together and was rowing in about 15 minutes. Watched the DVD and my form will need some work but I rowed a 2000 meter piece last night in 9:42 and a 5000 meter piece this morning in 29.02. LOL I will definitely be in better shape once I can do a 5000 meter piece non stop. I stopped twice this morning for about 1 minute and stretched and restarted. So my current goal will be rowing 4 to 5 days a week for a total of 30000 meters concentrating hard on form and slowly dropping my time.
Its hard to remember to drive with the legs first. Too much weightlifting doing seated rows makes me want to pull hard with my back and arms.
My first two rows were hard but fun. I have a lot of strength to pull hard but I need some endurance. I can already tell rowing is going to bring a new meaning of fitness to me. As my five year old daughhter tells me all the time, "This is going to be another best day of my life." She has them about 5 to 6 days a week.
