custom concept2 tshirts

for years now we've struggled a bit with tshirt. We love 'em, rowers seem to love 'em, but shipping and purchasing hate them. Trying to stock sizes, styles, colors, ship the right one, etc etc is a challenge.
To try and simplify life a bit we're exploring a 'tshirt printing on demand' company called zazzle.
If you visit
http://www.zazzle.com/concept2* you'll see two products - a basic t and a mug. Both can be customized (tshirt color, style, etc.) then ordered in a variety of styles.
Any feedback regarding this approach for challenge tshirts and even standard concept2 tshirts would be appreciated...

Bill - The best thing about your T-shirts over the years has been the quality of the shirt - Hanes Beefy-Ts, I think they are. They last a long time! Zazzle claims (naturally) to have high quality shirts but I would make sure they meet your standards before signing on with them.

Agree with Mike re: the quality. The C2 shirts last a long time, unlike shirts one might get at a road race. After a few washes, they are ready to use as utility rags in the garage

While I agree with the previous comments about maintaining quality, I do like the ability to basically get any color/sleeve type that suits me. I'd definitly be OK with this.

all good points about quality - i've already ordered 6 -10 shirts from zazzle - so far the printing quality is excellent (as long as you print on LIGHT colored shirts) - the ink is thermally applied and can't be felt on the fabric at all - which is cool. We're going to wear them around and wash them a few times to see how they hold up in the wash.
thanks for the feedback.

Hi Tyn,
Is there a specific "Dutch" style of T-shirt?

Carved from wood, perhaps, like the shoes? Just so long as they aren't made of cheese.

so we've continued to test zazzle shirts - our fall rowing challenge tshirt came out very well - the ink stands up well to washing and the quality of shirt continues to impress.
as for international - zazzle has an international shipment option...

Looks good. So us Ducks can get a 'club' design worked out, get it featured by zazzle and add our own name etc and have acusomized shirt without any club member or C2 having to do all thgrunt work? Cool

C2 doesn't have to be involved at all. I got a shirt from Zazzle a couple of years ago. I worked out the design I wanted (Carryin'/80+ yrs is/exercise/enough — in four lines) and ordered it through the net.
