Indoor recumbent exercise bikes?

Am patiently waiting for my Concept 2 to arrive.

The streets where I live are getting more and more congested for bicycling.

My question is:

Are there any indoor recumbent exercise bikes that have the same type of following as the Concept 2 rower does?

Thanks and it is nice to be here. Don

There are probably not the same kind of rankings, as there are so many different kinds of bicycles and cyclometers.

I used to do many repetitions, intervals and time trials on my wind trainer though. I prefered doing these on the wind trainer, as this was much safer than riding faster outside. Then I would just do distance on the roads. This worked very well. I got it for $70 and then basically wore it out.

The fluid trainers made now are much quieter.

Here is an example of one, and it happens to be on sale at the moment.

You'll need to make sure the cyclometer is one that hooks up to the back wheel of your bicycle, i.e. the same wheel that rides on the trainer.
