Million Meters - Who Woulda Thought....

...Rowing would have kept my interest for these months!

I started in September of last year as a 258 lb 49 year old woefully out of shape. I hit 1,000,000 today. I've dropped 35 lbs (45 left to go) and have watched my resting heartrate drop from 88 to 58.

Onward to 2,000,000!

Congrats! We hit 1,000,000 on the same day! It's funny, many people talk about the weight they've lost. I haven't lost any despite rowing around 7k per day. Everything has rearranged itself a bit, though.

Weight Loss

Okay - I have to be fair - the weight loss is not *just* a result of rowing....

I have made major modifications to my diet and chart my calorie intake. Prior to that, just like you, I was rowing a lot and not losing weight. As soon as I started watching my diet, the weight started coming off.

Congrats on the 1,000,000 meters and let's keep on rowing!

FYI same here. Over 2 M meters in the last 11 months and 2 lbs of weight loss (doesn't count since a big glass of water can change that) at all with some re-arranging.
