The new ranking/indoor rowing season begins May 1st - please note:

REMINDERS
1. The season (2004) officially ends April 30th at midnight Concept2 Vermont local time (Eastern Daylight Time).

2. Any piece that you wish to enter into the ranking for this season must be ROWED before that time. You will have until May 3rd to actually type the piece into your logbook and rank it.

3. When entering pieces, be very careful to select the correct date from the drop down menu. For instance if you row a piece on April 29, but don't have time to type it into the ranking until May 2nd - you must change the default date when entering this new piece.

4. Any piece that you row on May 1,2 or 3rd may be entered into your logbook, but you will not be able to actually rank it until sometime after 12:00noon May 3rd when the new ranking season is "turned on".

5. Wednesday morning May 3rd, all 2005 results will be moved into the archive table. You will still be able to view all 2005 results, but you will not be able to edit any of these results, nor will you be able to add anything to the 2005 season. Also at this time, all 2005 results will be summarized into your historical weekly summary table.

6. We STRONGLY recommend that all users use the text export function to download all results into a text file for back up purposes. You will find a link to this function in the header at the top of your Current Season logbook. Or, after May 3rd, you can do this from the History page, where 2005 will be archived.

As you probably are aware, the Eh!Team uses the team summary page http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/chal ... h%21+Team" as a base to keep track of how many meters we have rowed towards our around the world row. http://216.119.121.169/ehteam/default.aspx.

When will the new season begin to show for distance rowed (and presumably the team summary) pages?

i'll begin working on the various honor boards for the new season on monday - and will be putting them up and online by wed at the latest. the current season boards will continue to be visible and availalbe for some time.

You are attempting to put in a result outside the 2005/2006 Season dates. The 2007 Log will be online shortly. Use the back button on your browser to return to the previous screen.

That's what I get now if I try to enter anything. This wasn't supposed to happen on Tuesday was it?

Funny thing is now I _can_ upload entries via RowPro, but now you can't add them manually to the log with today's date.

in theory.. i've now rolled over the ranking - there are a few issues to be sorted - mostly with the honor boards - but i believe everhthing else is in order. please post here with found bugs and issues.

note that all your 2006 season meters are now rolled into your historical meter summary info.

If I go to my Concept 2 logbook at select History. It shows me a page that includes links to the past 4 seasons. If I select 2006 it shows me all of the 2006 entries in HTML however if I select "text export" for 2006 I get my 2 entries from the 2007 season.

It looks like it has the right year but somehow that 2006 is really pointing to 2007. The test export links for 2003 to 2005 are working correctly.

i was having trouble with one of the stored procs that runs this page - i think it is now sorted... please take another look and post or email me if you continue to see problems.

Still fails the same way. I get 2007 data instead of 2006 data on the 2006 text export.

Bill, I was looking around and see that while the 2005 boards are available and the 2007, the 2006 seems to be MIA...

had to install some new tools to edit the code that runs the university standings pages - 2006 data (which is no longer subject to change) is now linked to the 2007 page. Note that because your team affiliation is "live" for all current and prior university standing pages - the 2006 numbers could still change slightly if people start to change around their team membership...

http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/chal ... rs2006.asp still says: "No results to show. Please use the back button on your browser to change the criteria." for every category. It also says "This is day 368 of the 2006 Honor Board. "

By the way, the "Next" link at the base of annual_meters2007.asp points to "annual_meters2006.asp?direction=next".
