I'm baaaaack!

I originally bought a Model C in the late 90s. I loved the machine. It got me fit, and it got me through hard times (like my 7 year old son's leukemia treatments). I lived in Vermont/Upper NY at the time, and I actually met some of the Concept II guys. We moved to Virginia (where we didn't have a basement for working out), and in 2006, I caved into my wife's desires to free up space, and I sold her (my beloved model C, not my wife).
Although I play tennis regularly, I am not in the shape that I should be in, and as I move toward 50, it is becoming more critical. So, I have been looking for a jump start. The Gods of Fitness just smiled on me. More than smiled, actually. I was swinging through a local thrift shop, and there it was: Standing upright, illuminated by a beam of light from the skylight, a fully assembled, mint condition, Model D with a PM3. I figured that they must know what they have, so it was going to be $250 if I was lucky, $400 if I was not. It was marked $50. No way. As I was looking it over, a dealer-looking guy was circling like a shark, and I gave him a look that told him if I had to urinate on it to mark it as mine, I was ready to to so. He scurried away.
So now it is in my car, and I am fighting the battle with my wife to find a space for it. But I am keeping it. And I am really looking forward to my first row.
