Patch cable to lengthen the PM5 Monitor's connecting wire

I want to lengthen the PM5 Monitor connecting wire via a patch cable/wire. The existing connector appears to be a 2.5mm stereo (two ring) connector. Has anyone purchased a 2.5mm stereo male to female connector patch cable/wire to lengthen the PM5's existing wire? I've included a link to a potential extension below. Has anyone lengthened the wire in the manner I propose? Any advice. Thanks in advance.

Why do you think you need to lengthen the cable? The regular one is long enough.

Getting a 2.5mm stereo right angle is almost impossible and when you can the plastic can be to fat and it will certainly fowl the case on the PM3 and PM4.

Had a big problem finding something decent when I was repairing the tach sensors and the cables fracture at the connector.

The one on Amazon should work, its just not a tidy solution.
