I saw a post from April 1...and maybe it was an April Fool's prank (don't think so) but it got locked.
I completely get that it's not my forum and I don't make the rules, but the topic was interesting, and I don't get why it got locked. These forums barely get much commentary as it is, and it's not clear to me why things get locked when they do.
Why not provide a reason for such actions? Why lock them in the first place? I can see trying to prevent spam bots and what not, but at least most of us are adults..what's the harm?

I'm locking threads that act as a spam trap, because we're being bombarded with fake diet advice right now.
If you find a thread that you want re-opened click that little ! up in the right corner and ask.
When there's 40 threads to lock you're not getting a message in each thread.
