Corrupted data on ergdata and PM5

Very weird data appearing after a 30 minute row. One recorded split was 76,055 watts! :o

The same erroneous data is appearing on the ergdata app and on the PM5. This has occurred before but is intermittent.

The graph of the workout generated on the logbook page looks to be correct and the totals/averages at the top of the Splits area also look to be correct.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Send an email to info@concept2.com with your logbook ID and ask them to investigate.

Thanks for the suggestion. I sent them an email and will report back when I get a response from concept 2.

UPDATE: Technical support suggested loading the latest firmware version to the PM5. I did this and so far (2 days) I haven't received any more wild numbers after a workout.

Getting ergdata to reconnect to the PM5 after the update took nearly a half hour of trying myriad different approaches but it finally reconnected and has continued to work with no problems.

I’m glad it’s working again. Can I ask? Was it that your firmware was already up to date but you just reinstalled it, or were you running a previous version?

I was running an older version.
