Ideas for new machines by C2?

Post by Crypter » January 12th, 2022, 11:35 pm

I'm wondering what could be another machine made by C2 for a while now. I read that they were talking about an Airbike like the Rogue Echo Bike in a podcast but decided against it since there's no real sport using this kind of motion. Even though they use these things in Crossfit, of course. I know they do not come out with new stuff very often but I'd like to know which machine you'd like to see next by them, any ideas? Any wishes?

After spending some time looking for a good vertical climbing machine for home use, it's something I wish that Concept2 engineering could tackle.

Would love to see the Concept2 reputation for reliable build quality, easy maintenance, and great pricing in this field of equipment. There are a handful of options out there already, but nothing that seems to hit all three marks. I also prefer how Concept2 designs focus on actual equipment, including a system of strong metrics, rather than trying to convince customers to subscribe to "interactive experiences". Not that there is anything wrong with interactive training; it's just not my thing, so I'd much rather see that effort and expense put into the engineering.

Not saying that it makes sense for them to try building one. The existing range of C2 machines is pretty great already.
But since you asked... :)
