So, I discovered I've surpassed the 8M mark...and thus far, every shirt I've gotten has always been a good quality shirt - but the material, compared to the newer "ath-leisure" shirts available elsewhere are just not comfortable to me. They feel rather like burlap in comparison. I realize they're 100% cotton, but I'm afraid I've been spoiled by the cotton/polyester or nylon/polyester/cotton blends.
Does anyone know if C2 has any of these types of shirts available? If I'm going to overpay ($30 for a cotton shirt is darned expensive in my area. Should be closer to $8-10) I want the shirt to be more comfortable.

Re: C2 Merchandise
I'm painfully aware. Cafepress is charging $30 for a t-shirt that costs them less than $5. It's like each time we get a shirt, we pay them for a new screen set-up charge. The shirts are quality, but even at 2x markup, they shouldn't cost more than $20. And, as this is supposed to be kind of a trophy of sorts, they really shouldn't cost that much, either. Closer to an at-cost type of deal.
If I had permission to use the logo, I would simply pay a local t-shirt company to make myself some shirts. $20 screen set-up fee, plus a few t-shirts etc, I can probably get 20 t-shirts that are far more comfortable for less than $10 a shirt. They are too much money for the comfort they provide. I could never wear one rowing, they're like burlap.

What makes you think you can't just download a hi-res version of the logo and do just that?

Re: C2 Merchandise
The only clothing I have purchased has been direct from Concept 2.
Quality has been pretty good, I don't wear it rowing I wear it to go out in with jeans all the time.

Re: C2 Merchandise
I agree with ukaserex's remark about the t-shirt being kind of a trophy. Back in the old days, we used to get free shirts for completing the Holiday Challenge, on the honor system yet. I realize times have changed and the C2 rowing population is much larger, but the free shirt really was fun to earn every holiday season. And Cafepress is excessively expensive.
