getting used rower on offerup

Hello All,
i am planning to get used rower and i see lot of used rowers on offer up around 500$. i read in some posts, there are counterfeit models are selling online. would you guys suggest any tips to check whether its original rower or counterfeit? thanks in advance

What performance monitor?
What's the odometer reading?
Are you able to row it before you buy it?

What performance monitor? PM5 monitor
What's the odometer reading? 100k meters
Are you able to row it before you buy it? no, its in different state.

For $500 you're getting a bargain.
At 100K metres out of 20million metres you've got some way to go before you'd need to service it.
