A new owner, and quick intro

Hello everyone,
While I'm not new to indoor rowing, I am new to owning a rower. Today, I got lucky enough to have picked up a used Model D with PM 4. Yes, I paid a fair amount over retail, but with gyms closed, I was really, really missing rowing, and there's only so much HIIT I can do in my basement before I go crazy.
I'm super psyched to get back on the rower this afternoon and trying to figure out how to run my first workout, and I've found lots of information on these forums -- I'm happy to have found this community.
I feel sure I found a very good rower - the serial number matches the monitor, and indicates it was made in 2013. It's got about 337K lifetime meters on it and the action feels super smooth. I've updated the monitor firmware and made sure the chain is lubed and all the bolts are tight. Anything else I need to look out for? I'd appreciate hearing from the veterans.
For now, I don't have anything to add to any discussion, but I'm happy to be here, and look forward to learning tons more.

Welcome to the forum. : )
You may want to check the flywheel area and give it a quick cleaning - it isn't difficult.
If there are balance weights on the flywheel be sure you don't remove or otherwise disturb them.

Welcome to the forum. How is it all going so far? Do you feel like you're making progress?

I did clean the flywheel, but there wasn’t much there. The machine looks so new I really think it spent most of its life with the previous owner as a towel rack or something. Which is a damn shame.
Anyway, i and my wife and our sons (both 20-somethings) are getting in near-daily workouts and loving it. I’ve posted a couple of ranked-workout times I thought were decent, and I rowed 30k-plus meters last week. I’ve been reading the forum regularly, and got some great advice and information after posting a question in “training.”
It’s great to find a community like this.

Welcome to rowing world to all of you.
Maybe you want to row along with us on water, weather has been fine last week so we could shoot some new footage. Place a TV in front of your erg and row in Europe.
