The Swingulator sweep erg?

Post by Bob Evans » March 28th, 2020, 10:23 am

Just curious -- does anyone know what happened to Rowing Innovations Swingulator -- a modified sweep oar tied into a C2 erg that was sold as a less expensive alternative to rowing tanks? Could be configured as a single, 2, 4 or 8 for on-land training purposes. Interesting idea but apparently failed.

Thank you, Citroen. The Rowing Innovations link was DOA. So this redesigned product in still sold in the UK. Seems like a great training option, at least based on the video which, of course, would be biased. I wonder why more teams don't use one. But then, when my son rowed at Purdue, the boat house had NO C2 dynamic rowers which I thought odd. I suppose I should ask the coach why.

Thanks again and stay well.
