Cohabiting with undergraduates is very good preparation for cohabiting with livestock but I should think this actually an example of coexistence rather than one of cohabitation.
Have you had occasion to pole the punt ‘pon the Cam?

True, coexistence would also work, but it wouldn't be quite as interesting a subject heading.
I haven't had a chance to row on the river Cam, but I figured given the demographic of the forum, at least someone here might have.

I did pole a punt pon the Cam while an exchange student at Exeter U. in 1968. Can’t remember seeing eight-oared shells or matriculating cows. Burt Bacharach lyric in there: “For ruminants should always be lovers too.”

Punts are all on the college backs in town. Rowing is, or was, done further downstream on the longer and wider reaches, but last time I was there the river was clogged with weed and houseboats. CUBC at last has shiny new boathouse at Ely and row on the straight cuts of the River Ouse.
